Distinctive Features of Al Ma’soem Elementary School

1. Disciplined and Religious.
2. A full-day learning concept combining the National Education Curriculum (100%) with the Al Ma’soem Curriculum.
3. Additional subjects to strengthen faith, devotion, science, and technology include: Arabic, BTHA, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, Islamic History, Mental Arithmetic, English, and basic computer knowledge and practice.
4. Subject teachers are assigned, with each teacher responsible for one specific subject. 

 

FEATURED PROGRAMS

1. Islamic Studies

• Students are accustomed to performing congregational prayers, including daily practice of the Dhuhr prayer, while the Dhuha prayer is mandatory every Friday.
• Memorization of Juz 30 of the Qur’an.
• Memorization of Selected Prayers.
• Developing an Islamic Character.
• Talent Showcase: Gebyar Anak Muslim, Adhan Competition, Qur’an Memorization, and Qur’an Recitation.

2. Arts and Culture

• Students are able to express themselves through the arts, including singing, dance, music, poetry, and public speaking. Every semester, they perform at Expression Day, Muslim Children’s Performance, and Culture Day.
• Through the “Reading Day” program, a culture of reading, creative writing, and environmental awareness is developed. “Reading Day” is regularly held in collaboration with leading publishers and bookstores.
• A variety of extracurricular activities allows students to develop their interests and talents.

3. Science and Technology

• Varied learning methods through “Moving Class” and field studies at various learning sites.
• The “Science Day” program is regularly designed to accommodate students’ interests in research and observation.

• Sports offered to students include: Football, Swimming, Taekwondo, Karate, and Basketball.

RULES AND REGULATIONS 

1. Students are required to:

Students are required to attend Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) from 08:00 to 14:30. 

Students may take breaks throughout the campus area, except in the Junior High School, Senior High School, University, and Islamic Boarding School areas. 

Students are required to perform the Dhuhr prayer in congregation.

Students must remain in their learning areas during Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM), except for students requiring special attention. 

Pay the DOP no later than the 10th of each month.

Wear uniforms according to the following schedule: 

– Monday to Wednesday: White shirt, orange skirt/trousers.

– Thursday: Batik shirt, orange skirt/trousers.

– Friday: White koko shirt, orange skirt/trousers.

Note: If there is a physical education class, students may wear their sports uniform from home.

Wear name tags, school location badges, and the foundation logo.

Students must behave and present themselves according to Al Ma’soem standards, including avoiding: using harsh language, dyeing or styling hair inappropriately, wearing unsuitable school footwear (high heels, wheeled shoes, sandals), wearing excessive accessories, damaging or dirtying learning facilities, and eating during Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). 

2. Students are prohibited from: 

Bringing toys and other items unrelated to educational activities, including mobile phones, cosmetics, comics, and adult reading materials.

Celebrating birthdays and occasions that do not conform to Al Ma’soem norms, including Valentine’s Day and the Gregorian New Year. 

Cheating during daily tests or general examinations. 

Leaving the classroom for specific purposes without the teacher’s permission. 

Leaving school before dismissal time, except with permission from the homeroom teacher or the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs. 

3. Other Matters:

If a student is unable to attend, the parent/guardian must notify the homeroom teacher or the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs.

If a student arrives late to class, they must report to the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs. 

If catering services are required, students may only use the catering service appointed by the Foundation. 

Students in Grades 1 through 6 are encouraged to participate in at least one extracurricular activity.
